Reaching Out to Our Community & the World

Our outreach efforts assist a wide variety of projects in the local and worldwide communities and are led by the Rector and our Outreach Committee; a group of volunteer church members.

Our mission is to provide financial support to organizations that enhance and enrich the lives of people in need. Outreach funding is dispersed through a monthly review process managed by the Outreach Committee. Proposals may be submitted to the Outreach Committee by any organization or individual with a Trinity Church parishioner as sponsor (for more information see Outreach Submission Guidelines). Examples of projects funded recently include Kairos Prison Ministry, Helping Hatian Angels, and The Laurel Center.

Trinity Church outreach sponsors many other efforts beyond the proposals to support our community; local and regional. These include The Trinity Thrift Shop, ESL(English as a Second Language), Community Music School of the Piedmont, The Trinity Hunt Country Stable Tour and the Trinity Christmas Auction.

Trinity Church Missionary Team members (L to R) Arch Randolph, The Rev. Rob Banse, Jr., and Bill Easton read with orphan children in Haiti.
